The MAD ABOUT US Seminar
is an interactive workshop that encourages couples to live out of their relationship rather than their individual needs. Dr. McKinley brings 17 years of experience working with
couples and will share his vision of the Us marriage. This workshop is based both on biblical instruction and real life examples.
During the first section of the workshop, participants will rediscover what God intended marriage to be like. The Us concept will be fully developed. Dr. McKinley will describe three marriage styles that illustrate the various ways spouses strive to love each other.
In the second section, Dr. McKinley addresses the practical working tasks that all couples face. He has narrowed the broad requirements of marriage skills into five specific tasks. When these tasks are understood and consistently put in to practice with confidence, any couple can have a successful Us relationship.
During the third section, Dr. McKinley will share three critical connections that all couples need to have a fabulous marriage. These connections are the pathways to an exciting, growing, and meaningful marriage relationship.
THREE FORMATS:
1. One day seminar: 9-4
2. Two day format: Friday night 7-9 and Saturday 9-2
The BUILDING A MARRIAGE MINISTRY Seminar
is a three hour interactive coaching workshop. We will address three critical pieces to building an effective marriage ministry…casting the vision, preparing the infrastructure, requiting the team. The workshop is designed to lead your team through these three steps in developing a ministry plan. Your church will leave with a written plan of action steps to follow. This is a coaching process with a structured agenda. This is ideal for churches who have 6-8 people who aspire to start this type of ministry and need help getting started. It would also be helpful for an active ministry that needs refinement and re-purposing.
