For nearly twenty years,
Doug has been working in the human development field. During the first ten years of his career, he worked with individuals and families providing psychological interventions for their difficult transitions and challenges while building a profitable business.
In the last five years, Doug expanded his work to include leadership roles in non-profit organizations. In 2000, he began working with clients as a life-leadership coach and with couples as a marriage coach. Doug is also a core faculty member of the Institute for Life Coach Training.
One of Doug’s greatest passions is public speaking. He conducts seminars, facilitates training, and holds retreats for business and personal development. His speaking style invites participants to listen for application rather than evaluation.
Doug’s favorite quote is “Have the courage to be imperfect.” He maintains that the courage to be imperfect allows you to take profitable risks and develop yourself without the constraint of having to do it “just right.” When you are free to courageously explore, you will be open to experience multiple paths of living the life you’ve always wanted.
